Knocks For Tinubu Over #Throwback Photo
Some social media users have flayed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, over a #throwback photograph he tweeted on Thursday.
Tinubu in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, had posted a photograph of himself reading a national daily from January 2022 and captioned it, “Staying focused #BAT23.”
Some tweeps who responded to the tweet, knocked the former Lagos governor for posting a dated photo and questioned his whereabouts, a question which has been trending for over a week.
A popular tweep, Kelvin Odanz, said, “Bola, you need to stop this tricks. Stop hiding in the UK and sharing pictures and videos. Come and speak to Nigerians, join your supporters in at least one march. I am worried about you. Come home.”
Machine stopper stated, “The news paper he is holding is of Jan 23, 2022. Where is Tinubu?”
Meanwhile, Olubunmi Aro countered the backlash by saying that Tinubu never claimed that the photo was a new one.
“Did he tell you the pix was taken today. The pix just signified how focused he is.”
