Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd star walks down tunnel before final whistle v Tottenham

United won 2-0 in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Fred gave United a deserving lead in the 47th minute.

Jadon Sancho teed up the Brazilian outside the box and his effort found the back of the net via a heavy deflection.

Bruno Fernandes then doubled his side’s lead in the 69th minute.

The Portuguese midfielder found space inside the box and curled his effort past Hugo Lloris and into the top corner.

There were no further goals as United clinched a vital three points.

Ronaldo shows his frustration

Ronaldo scored a brilliant hat-trick in the fixture between the two sides last season.

But, after starting last weekend against Newcastle, Ronaldo was relegated to the bench once more against Tottenham.

Erik ten Hag decided against using Ronaldo for the game at Old Trafford and instead subbed on Christian Eriksen, Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay.

The 37-year-old was apparently not very happy with his lack of game-time and walked down the tunnel before the match had ended.
