UNIBEN senior lecturer arrested by school authorities after being accused of raping a female student
A senior lecturer in the University of Benin had been apprehended by the school’s security guards after he was accused of raping a female student and locking her up in his office for hours after the deed.
According to reports, the lecturer, one Dr Bode Ekundayo, in the English and Literature department, locked up the female student in his office when she visited him to register for her final year project on October 5, 2021.
One video shows Dr Bode pacing outside the health centre after the victim was admitted there, and be questioned by a staff.
