WINDOW 11: THE MOST ANTICIPATED OS UPDATE IN 2021

Windows is an Operating System owned and built by Microsoft Corporation founded by Bill Gate. It has been up-and-running since the 1980s, with the first version released in 1985. Since the advent of Windows 1, Microsoft Corporation has been releasing a new Windows Update that blends with the modern world.

In June 2021, it was announced that Microsoft is about to release a new window version. After 36 years of releasing the first version of Windows Os, Microsoft is set to release the 11th version before the end of the year 2021. This version will be the successor of Windows 10 which was released in 2015.

This new version is said to have new features, like allowing users to download and run android apps on the PC, with a MAC OS-like interface and some features on Xbox which improves gaming on the Windows 11 version.

However, there have been several clues on the date Microsoft will start rolling out the new Windows version. While some suggested it may arrive in early October, it was announced by the corporation that the rollout of the Window 11 will begin in the holiday season of 2021.

Moreover, Microsoft has stated to the public about their minimum system requirements. This new version authorized that the device it’s qualified to run with should have 64-bit processors assigned, TPM 2.0, UEFI secure boot, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Microsoft has clearly stated their reasons for the rigid requirement are for the system performance and security-based.

The corporation has released the PC health checker app, which contains the instructions and guides on devices that are compatible with Windows 11. It also gives well-detailed information on reasons windows 11 can’t run on your device, and how-and-where to find out the next things to do.

Many Windows fans have taken to social media to express their reaction to the new Windows 11. However, some had criticized the new feature which is only compatible with a 64-bit processor and over 7th generation PCs, while others praised them for improving the system security and performance.

The software giant CEO, Satya Nadella, when announcing the new updates to the public said that “With Windows 11, we have renewed sense of windows’ role in the world”. He further stated that “Today the world needs a more open platform, one that allows apps to become a platform in their own right. Windows is a platform where things that are bigger than windows can be born, like the web.”

In addition, Windows 10 users can download the new Windows 11 version for free when the rollout begins. Although companies have begun selling “Windows 11-ready PC” before its launch.

Microsoft also adds a new feature called “Teams software”, similar to the “Facetime software” of Apple which only runs on MAC OS and iOS. Teams is already existing on Apple and Android device, which add a lot to making it a bit more competitive. However, Microsoft has made the software easy to access by building it on the window taskbar.

The system minimum requirements can make at least 60% of windows 10 user won’t be able to upgrade to Windows 11 due to its rigid features which critics claimed it is artificially assigned for business purpose. The window icon on the taskbar has also been criticized for its compulsory Microsoft account and internet connection needed before completing the first time set up.
