Bishop David Oyedepo speaks on the recent sacking of pastors
The general overseer of the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winner Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has responded to the rumours currently going all over social media that the church sacked some pastors in their rural branches over a poor generation of income from those branches.
He made these statements during one of his recent church services in which he stated that the pastors were not sacked because of the low-income generation, but because they were not productive and fruitful, they are required to fill the churches. He further stated that the churches in the rural areas cannot recover the money that was spent in building those churches in the next 14 years.
He also criticized social media for the way they took the matter since a pastor came online to make public of the development, stating that social media was dead when the church employed 7000 pastors at once. He also said that living faith church has more employees than most of the states in the country.
